Free Webinar on CRSI Resources for Universities on the Design and Detailing of Steel Reinforced Concrete
This webinar will provide an overview of some CRSI resources that can be incorporated into curricula for the design and detailing of steel reinforced, cast-in-place concrete structural members. Click here for FREE registration!
An overview of the CRSI Design Guide on the ACI 318 Building Code Requirements for Structural Concrete will be presented. The purpose of this Design Guide is to assist in the proper application of the design and detailing requirements in the 2019 edition of Building Code Requirements for Structural Concrete (ACI 318-19). The Design Guide has over 990 pages and 140 worked-out examples that clearly illustrate the fundamentals of reinforced concrete design for one-way slabs, two-way slabs, beams, columns, walls, diaphragms, foundations, joints, and earthquake-resistant design.
The CRSI Design Checklists will also be presented. These checklists are easy-to-use lists of essential items that must be completed when designing and detailing steel reinforced concrete members. They assure all requirements for a structural member are addressed and not inadvertently skipped or forgotten. This is vitally important for students who have no or limited experience using the ACI 318 building code.
Attendees receive 1.0 PDH, 0.1 CEU.
