Timesaving Design Aids for Reinforced Concrete: SERIES

This seminar series will provide design professionals with ways to reduce the time it takes to design and detail conventionally reinforced concrete beams and slabs while still complying with the provisions of the 2014 edition of ACI 318, Building Code Requirements for Structural Concrete. Included will be ways to achieve overall economy by utilizing basic guidelines for proportioning member size, detailing the reinforcement, and forming techniques. Numerous design aids will be presented as well as worked-out examples that illustrate the use of the simplified methods.
